In ACADEMI’s one-day M1911 Handgun Armorer course, student will acquire the basic armorer skills for this historic and popular firearm system. Students will discuss the history of this famous firearm, and then learn how to diagnose and repair malfunctions, perform function checks, and return firearms to military specifications. Armorer training classes are a mixture of classroom instruction and hands-on exercises, enabling each student to achieve a high degree of familiarity with the topics covered. After completing the course, students will be able to repair and maintain the M1911/M1911A1 firearm to military specifications.
